Harmonium & Kirtan Weekend Training
Join us for a special weekend harmonium & kirtan training from visiting harmonium instructor, Seth Lieberman. This weekend-long immersive workshop is intended for beginner through intermediate levels of harmonium playing, focused on a western style of music playing (not Indian raga or sargam). You do not need any prior experience to participate. You will learn beautiful chant music on the harmonium, learn the foundations of music theory, practice leading kirtan, and go deeply into the spiritual practice of kirtan with others. This course will be conducted in a fun, interactive way in a small group learning environment.
Previous course participants: If you have already taken this course last year, we will learn some new music! You are welcome and encouraged to participate again.
*Students must provide their own harmonium to participate. If you do not have an instrument, you can buy or rent one from: https://www.india-instruments.de/.
